Why does my new chalkboard not write well ?
Do not worry, all black chalk boards are completely satisfactory after a few times of use. At the beginning, it is difficult to write easily on new boards because the chalk does not adhere very well. In order to eliminate this situation and get a good service from a new chalkboard, simply prepare it in 4 very simple steps : - Step 1: Lay a chalk on the side and rub the entire surface to cover the board completely with chalk. - Step 2 : Erase the surface by circular motion with a good felt brush. - Step 3: Repeat steps 1 and 2 once or twice. - Step 4 : Remove any chalk dust with a quality chamois. After this manipulation, the chalk on your writing board should adhere better.
